In this project, the clinic is focusing to monitor the human rights situation in Afghanistan, advocate for action to address the violations, and publish reporting on key issues facing the country.

This initiative seeks to support lawyers and NGOs to strengthen their strategic litigation over digital rights issues by using the UN treaty body individual complaint mechanisms and other UN human rights systems.

Human Rights and Social Media

This initiative monitors the development of models for social media oversight and regulation--by companies and governments--and, with a particular focus, the Facebook Oversight Board (FOB), and publishes reporting on key issues and recommendations.

National Human Rights Commission

This project develops research and advocacy for an American National Human Rights Institution (NHRI) and identifies a concrete proposal for the U.S. Government. 

Restraining the Private Surveillance Industry

This project develops various roadmaps to restraining digital surveillance, especially those by spyware, the most intrusive and sophisticated surveillance tools.
